Hi,
My name is Lisa, and I am currently looking for a Norwegian teacher. My father is Norwegian and I have grown up hearing the language, but am at present unable to speak with any consistency which is frustrating as I have many relatives who live there.
I will be starting at Nottingham University in October and see this as a prime time to begin learning the language properly with a teacher to help. I know some words, enough to get around at best, but my grammar and conservationa l ability need work in order that I can be confident at speaking it; I can be quite shy at speaking it as I feel that I don't have the skills to hold a conversation.
I am looking for a friendly and able teacher, in the Nottingham area, who can help me to learn Norwegian as well as build my confidence to speak it. I am a fairly quick learner and I work hard for any task I commit to. I would be interested in taking language qualification s to push me further, and would prefer face-to-face tuition to boost my speaking ability.
I understand that this is a difficult language to find a tutor for, especially for such a specific area in the UK, so if you know of somebody who would be able to help then please use this site to contact me if you can; your help would be much appreciated!
