My mother is a native Serbo-Croat speaker but my father was English and she never taught me to speak her language. All my family live in either Croatia or Serbia and I am desperate to learn how to communicate with them.
I am a beginner as I have tried using a book and audio CD pack from the library but did not get on with that method of learning.
I would like to start with weekly lessons. My main aim is aural communication . However, I also want to progress to being a competent writer or Serbian/Croat ian.
I have a car and am willing to travel for lessons.

Hi. I am self-taught. I am disabled and my health has prevented me from studying for a few years.
I want to learn Mandarin for my own enjoyment,
I was intermediate but have forgotten a lot
I would like to have casual conversations and a little reading and would enjoy learning a little Chinese calligraphy.
I think I would like to have one hour lessons/conve rsations. I do not want formal lessons as I am too poorly to concentrate a lot.
I am looking for someone to be friendly. To visit me at my home in Headingley, drink coffee and chat partly in English and partly in Mandarin. Perhaps watch a Mandarin movie together sometimes I Had a tutor who did this with me a few years ago before she had to return to China.
