My partner is Greek and I want to be able to converse with the family when I go to Athens
I would like to be able to hold a proper conversation rather than just asking for the milk or saying good morning!!
I want 1 or 2 hours per week with work to do in my own time in between ie self study exercises
I want to be taught in a way where I will be able to talk greek and understand what people are saying to me. It is less important to be able to write in greek

I am a beginner, I am married to an Albanian man and would like to be able to talk to his family when I visit them in Albania. Also I would like to have a family and am afraid my children will not be able to speak to the albanian side of the family unless me and my husband both are able to teach them. I have studied French & Spanish to a reasonable level in previous years, however in the past 20 years I have had very little need to use. I love Europe & love to visit, however I find that I have lost my confidence in speaking French or Spanish. I don't want to lose what I already know so would like to restart lessons in conversation in particular whilst also getting the grammar correct.
I have tried to teach myself Italian over the years but again feel that I need to have more indepth teaching to be able to converse & understand what is spoken.
I really love to speak languages native to the country I am visiting, however as I have already said I have lost my confidence in both French & Spanish but still want to learn & get back to where I was.

I am studying for GCSE Urdu and particularly require practice in speaking/list ening, also someone to answer questions re grammar and spelling. I can already read Urdu. I would want a lesson one hour per week, working on own for rest of time. I am a mature student. I am studying mainly for interest as I work with some Urdu-speaking children, but also hope there may be possibility of using Urdu in a future job. I am a linguist and so am used to learning languages.
