I want to learn German because my family is from Germany. My Grandma and Grandpa always said they regretted not teaching her sons so we could learn it and keep it going in the family, so when I started to learn on my own, they were so proud, I just want to finally learn it all so they can be happy knowing it will be carried on in our family.
I would say I'm still a beginner. I know how to count, tell time, basic conversation etc.. but I'm not much for sentence structure yet.
I'm fairly good at learning grammar and conversation, it's really just learning where to put the words in the sentence so it makes sense. that's the main thing.
I would like to do weekly lessons, but if you thought i needed more then i could do a couple a week. I work shifts and my schedule changes often, so it probably wouldn't be the same days every week, but I could do bi-weekly.
I 'm a quick learner, so as long as i'm kept at a pace that's challenging me, but not rushing me, I'm good. Because some subjects I'll fly through, but then others I may need to take some time, so just being able to recognize the pace that's appropriate for me.
