I hope to learn Swedish in order to complete my studies in Sweden, learn more about my family's culture, found a future career( I hope to work and study in Sweden someday) and to educate myself more fully. I hope to complete university in Sweden and to eventually found a career speaking mainly Swedish. I am willing to travel to any location in Sweden to learn. I am also willing to spend three months in Sweden to master the language as well as possible. The time of year is also unimportant to me, however next year would be ideal for me starting the first of January. I put learning Swedish at the top of my priorities. I am a beginner with little to no previous experience. However I have been raised around Swedish and I speak fluent German. I am willing to dedicate much of my time to learning Swedish and plan to use it my entire life.

Hi, my name is Charlie Nguyen. I was actually born in Vietnam but I left my country when I was 6 months. My Grandmother brought my older brother,siste r, and I to the states. It was very hard for my family in the beginning, but through the grace of God, I met my adoptive mom and dad when I was 4. They helped us tremendously growing up. They are Caucasian so growing up English has become my first language. I was never really taught vietnamese but it's been something I've always wanted to learn.

I'm trying to 're-learn' Persian (Farsi/Dari, the dialect makes no difference to me as it's written the same and I can understand between both dialects) mainly because 10 years ago I learned it (a vast amount of it at least, but not everything there is to know in the language). I recently realized that I hadn't forgotten all of it. I can still read and write in Persian, albeit comprehending everything that I can read is another story. I'm probably somewhere in between a beginner and intermediate level and would like to progress, which is hard to do on my own.

I am a language teacher by trade and so have always been interested in other languages. I am an utter beginner, but fairly good at picking up language. The time I have is flexible, so I can work with a teacher to find an effective time. In a teacher, I'm looking for someone who's willing to converse, correct me and repeat themselves. I'm not interested in workbooks - I'm interested in talking to a person and learning to converse.
