I would like to learn how to read and write Korean as well as speak it well enough to hold a simple conversation.
I plan on in 6 to 9 years to retire to Korea and wish to be able to do well enough in Korean to have no problems adapting to life there.
I can speak and understand some simple Korean but cannot read or write the language.
I can dedicate 2 to 3 hours daily to my lessons and more time on weekends
I am looking for a teacher that understands how to work with older people and can help me achieve my goals.

I am writing this for my 17 year old daughter . She is self-learning Japanese right now but we would like her to have a tutor for proper use of Japanese . We live in Joliet,Il and would be willing to drive to a tutor's place or a library in between our cities . Im a beginner. My girlfriend is Filipina and she move back to Manila soon, i need to learn language to find job and communicate with her relatives once i move with her. I am beginner, so i need improvement in everything. Not sure how much time yet, i am not sure how easy it will come to me. I will try hard to learn, i am not sure when and where lessons will take place and how it will conflict with my work schedule.
