I will be attending a college in the fall in Philadelphia, PA. My college has a foreign language requirement. I would like to learn Romanian, and am hoping to convince the college to accept private instruction in that language as a fulfillment of the language requirement. I am a beginner, and would have to reach some level of competency (set by the college) in order for it to qualify. Therefore, in addition to instruction I would need a 'course outline' to present to the college.

I am a beginner. I would like to become more proficient in Tagalog at least, if not Illongo. To overcome communication problems with relatives in the Philippines and improve communication s with others. I need to improve all aspects since I have very little prior skills. My desire to learn the Hungarian language comes from the fact that I am married to a Hungarian. I wish to speak the language very much to be able to communicate with my family. Currently, I know just a few words and if I know what the conversation is about, I can decipher the the whole conversation. My wife tells me that I can pronounce the words perfectly... almost without an accent. I believe this is because my primary language is Spanish and in my language, we say every word how it is spelled just like Hungarian. My intent is to become fully proficient in the language.
