Dear teacher,
I am in houston for a 3-month training. My name is Jerry, a 39 years old male from Taiwan. To improve my learning and interaction with each others, I feel that I do need a conversation tutorial. My available time is 7-9 PM on Monday to Friday and 10 AM-9 PM on Saturday to Sunday. I think 2 hours per day, 2-3 days a week for 3-4 weeks is good for me. But it depends on your design and my availbale time. If you are interested, please give me a response and I wish to start it as soon as possible.

W hy you are learning your foreign language:
I've always been very fond of Japan, and would like to learn the language and culture...Hop efully, one day, I'll be able to move there!
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement:
I know the basic kanji characters, but lack writing skills, true communication skills, and an overall knowledge of the language.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons:
As much time as it would take to be able to properly speak and write Japanese on my own. I work 8AM-6PM on the weekdays, and usually have the weekends off.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher:
I want my lessons to challenge me, but what I don't want is a lot of work and little guidance. Overall, I'm looking for someone who is fluent in the language, and is willing to spend the needed time to properly teach me everything I need to know. ;)

I am a beginner at the language. I wish to learn arabic because I am Tunisian and would like to return there someday soon. As well as be able to communicate with my family overseas. The most important part of the learning to me is the conversationa l area., as well as reading. The amount of time I am willing to dedicate to the lessons is dependant on my college classes and how much the hourly rate is. I would assume 2 hours two time a week. If that is not enough then I can work towards more time. I am looking for an instructor that is willing to push the lessons and motivate me to learn the arabic language.

Hello,
I am currently interested in learning Croatian for personal as well as business reasons. My mother is from Croatia while my father was from Slovenia. Growing up in the US, I naturally had a lot of exposure to the Croatian language, but as English was used in the house I never learned to properly speak or understand it, unlike most of my relatives on my mother's side of the family. I have been to Croatia several times over the years visiting my family as well as on non-family holidays.
While in London, I took Croatian lessons for a few months, but I have been moving since the beginning of the year back to Montclair, NJ. I would like to begin my study again, perhaps on a weekly basis. I work in New York City but would prefer to arrange lessons in the Montclair area if that is possible.
In terms of other languages that I have studied, I have had a good understanding in the past of German and Italian. However, it has been many years since I've studied them and I'm no longer really conversant in them. As part of my job, I received some lessons in Russian a few years ago but never had the time to dedicate to it.
