Five years ago, I completed a high-school level French I class. That's the absolute extent of my proficiency in any of my three desired languages.
~ I love the French langauge and the basic knowledge is helpful with other Latin languages. I've wanted to continue learning, but never got the opportunity.
~ Almost all of my favorite foods, fashion, and entertainment are Japanese. I am planning a summer trip to see two Japanese female (previously) foreign-excha nge students stayed at my house. So it'd be helpful to speak Japanese! I plan to learn as much as possible, before AND after the trip.
~ Many of my friends and acquaintances speak Russian, so I've become interested as I try to guess what they're saying.
