My Proficiency level. I can read and speak English but my spelling and writing are not that very good.
Why I need to learn this language. I work in maintenance department and we need to write down information about are equipment. With my spelling and writing skills I cannot advance my career.
The areas I need to improve is Spelling and Writing.
I will be willing to dedicate 2 hours a day, or what will be convenient to the teacher.

I am very interested in learning the foundations of Arabic. I have purchased a number of books and the Rosetta Stone software, but still find it to be quite difficult working at one's own pace. Additionally, I am interested in the social customs and taboos which my offent natives.
I am willing to do whatever is asked of me, in order to learn the language. My goals are to have a working understanding of native speakers, the ability to read local signs and newspapers. Eventually I am interested in being able to write in Arabic, but this is a far off goal. For now understanding and being able to communicate on a basic level would be great. I do plan to work as a paramedic and registered nurse in a predominatly Arabic speaking area, so medically related basics are also important.
