I am looking to be tutored in learning the Russian language. I live in the Placer County area near Sacramento, CA. and want to have several in-person lessons per week. I am engaged to a Russian woman who has very little English skills so I need to find us a happy medium. My tutor does not have to have certified teaching credentials; just the ability to instruct me on every day conversation in the Russian language.

I spent three months in Vietnam and I picked up quite a bit of the language. However, since being back in the United States, I have lost a great deal of my vocabulary. There is a large Vietnamese community on the outskirts of my city and I would like to be able to volunteer with organizations that work within this community. An ideal teacher would be someone proficient in both Vietnamese and English, who could not just teach me words and grammar, but also discuss with me cultural aspects of the language. I lived in the North and I know pronunciation is different than in the South. As a result, perhaps it would be best if my teacher is from or learned the Northern dialect. I would like someone who would be available to meet twice a week (roughly).

I wan to learn Korean because it's interesting and one day I want to design modern korean style clothing so it would help to learn how to speak the language.
Si nce I'm a beginner I need improvements in reading, writing, and speaking.
I would spend Thursday-Sund ay in person, maybe up to 3 hours a day. I will spend however many hours the teacher want me to study out of classes.
I want to learn to be native at the language, not just learn simple phrases because I already know a few simple phrases. I would prefer if the teacher had prior experience and speak Korean as his/her native language.

I have had no exposure to Amharic. I am definitely a beginner.
