I am a beginner in learning Romanian. An American male, I have lived in Australia, Europe, and Japan, but have never visited Romania.
I would like to teach English in Bucuresti, starting in January, 2007. I need to speak Romanian for business and for fun.
If you would like to learn Japanese, I lived there for 5 years, studied Japanese in graduate school. I can teach you beginning Japanese, conversation and reading Chinese characters.
All areas are in need of improvement! I have a Romanian language textbook with tape I am using by myself.
I would like to learn Romanian on the Internet, by voice chat (like Skype.com) and email.
I have many years experience teaching English (TEFL/TESL), so I can exchange English for Romanian lessons.
I would like to spend as many hours on lessons each week as I can. This will depend on both our schedules.
I am looking for a communicative approach. As a language teacher myself, I do not want a heavy grammar/trans lation emphasis. Speaking and listening is top priority. I can learn to read on my own; some help with my writing in Romanian (like a resume for starters) would be great.

Hello,
I just recently completed undergrad in liberal arts. I am a beginner in the Arabic language. I would like to learn Arabic for both future career interests, and for communication with my grandma and the arabic speaking members of my family.
I am interested in a weekly lesson in person with a teacher where I can learn grammar and practice conversation. I would also be interested in some recomendation s of books and practice CDs that I can use at home in between classes.
I hope to find a patient teacher, because I am a beginner!

My proficiency level in Spanish is at the beginner level. My husband is from Chile, so even though I have listened and been around his family and friends for many years I understand very little and do not speak the language at all. The reason why I would like to learn Spanish is that my husband and I are thinking of retiring in Chile within the next 10 years or so. I love South America finally feel as though I should get serious about learning the language well enough to live there one day. We recently moved to St. Louis and I do not have to work a daily job, so my schedule is flexible. I would like to dedicate time each day learning to speak Spanish, and am thinking of live, in person lessons once or twice a week.
I am looking for a teacher who teaches conversationa l Spanish. Although speaking the language is my primary goal, I believe I will learn faster with some reading and writing lessons or some teaching technique that will help me form mental images of what I am trying to speak.

Hello my name is Noe. I would like to learn how to speak korean because it's a language that I will need to speak when I visit Korea in the near future. I am amazed at the ancient culture of Korea. I sometimes watch channel 18 a Korean channel and I try to pick up grammer but their is no translation to english. I did buy a CD, learn to speak korean but it only goes so far. From the pictures I seen and korean people I get to meet on the streets they tell me Korea is very beutiful country. I was in the Army and I chosed to go to Korea but the Army decided to keep me here. I would also like to speak Korean because of the women. If I would get married it would be to a Koren women. I would like to attend class once a week or twice a week.
