I am far from a beginner, but certainly not fluent. I am 100% Italian with parents and grandparents who never taught us the language. I have been to Italy 14 times in 15 years, and am returning this year. I would like to make a commitment to becoming fluent. I have a fairly good grasp of languages-6 years of French, a couple years of Italian in college. I would like to be tutored privately once a week, as I travel a lot for business. I want to be fluent enough to really carry on a conversation w/family in Italy and friends who are also interested in the language. I understand the importance of conjugation and verb tenses, but need help here!
