Beginner -- I know the alphabet and about 50 words.
I want to learn the basics so I can speak Russian with my girlfriend and her friends and family. I need to focus on the basics so I can get to a point where just being around Russians speaking leads to greater learning.
I am will to devote up to 3 hours a week to these lessons. I need flexibility in schedule from my teacher. I travel relatively often for work and will need to study more some weeks and less other weeks.

Family of three needs to learn German language ASAP
Level: Beginner
M y husband was adopted in Germany by an American military couple in 1959. He was brought up in the US. Recently he has located his birth family in Germany (mother and 4 sisters). A reunion is planned for late September. The language barrier is huge. We need help immediately to learn this language. Private lessons for just the three of us would be great. This would be for myself, my husband, and our daughter.
