I am beggining to learn Japanese from a PC program. I have only studied it about 1 month and I am looking for a teacher I can actually talk to. I want to learn the language as it will benefit me for my future career. I am an absolute begginer so I will need a teacher that will be able to teach me the basics. I want to spend atleast a few hours a week with the teacher. I would like a native Japanese speaker if possible.

I´m not sure which level I am in with my Thai because I was an exchange student in Thailand for a year when I was seventeen and now I am 21 and I haven´t spoken much Thai after that. The reason why I want to start studying Thai is because I really want to move there again and spend more time there. I need improvement both in conversation and in writing.
I would want to spend couple of hours a week to improve my Thai and I would want my teacher to be patient and ofcourse helpful. :)

I am interested in learning the Thai language, both spoken and written. I am planning to visit Thailand, and I wish to learn more than just tourist phrases. I am a complete beginner in Thai. My expectations are modest, inasmuch as I understand that Thai is considered very challenging to learn for English speakers. Nonetheless I am prepared to work hard to learn as best I can. I have studied several other languages and I find that for me, the best approach is to learn grammar as well as conversation, as opposed to the 'immersion' method - I need to be able to ask questions during class, in English if necessary, to make sure I understand what I am learning.
My ideal language instructor is a native Thai speaker, who speaks fluent English and has had experience teaching Thai to native English speakers. Other desirable qualities are flexibility, patience and a good sense of humor.

I am a beginner, though I lived in Taiwan some years ago and retain a bit of my Mandarin learning. My wife and I are moving to Taipei after we finish law school and would like ot begin our studies now. We were looking for a couple lessons a week. I would like to learn how to speak Spanish. I know some words but definitely a beginner. I would like to learn Spanish because a lot of my friends are able to speak it and my brother recently bought a home in San Felipe and would like to know the langauage while I visit. I don't know how long it will take but I am willing to spend the time. I just want a teacher who is kind and patient.
