I have picked up some Cantonese from my girlfriend, who's whole family is from Hong Kong. I would like to be able to communicate better with her family members, some of which speak very little, or no English at all. I have read some books and listened to tapes, but that is really not the best way that I learn. In person, where I can easily ask questions and get the answers, is the best way for me to absorb information. I know some very basic vocabulary, and grammar. I'm very busy, so I'd be looking for lessons once a week. Thanks you.

I am at the beginners level. I have taken couple of semesters of Japanese but it was over a year ago. I love the language and i would like to speak it as a second language. I would like to spend more time with conversationa l Japanese just to get back into the flow of things. I would like to spend most of my free time after work learning. I speak some spanish at my job but there are a lot of things I would like to improve on such as conversation spanish and broaden my vocabulary. My spanish is intermediate but I would like to practice a lot more and feel more comfortable speaking spanish at work. I would like to meet with someone once or twice a week to practice. I would prefer to learn from a native speaker and preferably a speaker from Mexico since most of the people I work with are Mexican and I would like to learn more Mexican slang as well.
