Hello,Instruct or/Teacher for the Assyrian language.I am interested in learning Assyrian.I would be at the level of a Beginner.I have only browsed through the internet looking for information on how to learn to speak,read and write Assyrian.But, I have not been successful until now that I have found this website.I,wou ld like to learn Assyrian fluently.My future husband to be is Assyrian,and that is one of my reason's to learn this language.I would like to understand and be fluent to speak to him, his mother and family as it would be fair to each side to communicate with eachother.I am willing to learn this language as long as you are willing to teach me to learn it fluently.I am looking for a Teacher who is Bold and Strong at this language.A teacher who is willing to give his/her all to a student who can accept constructive critism as I am willing to learn this language.A teacher who is fair and honest in instruction as well as patient and loving at teaching.Than k you.

I currently have no experience whatsoever in studying mid-eastern Arabic. However, I do have experience studying foreign languages, and at this point I have an intermediary proficiency in French, and a basic understanding of Italian and Latin.
I'm interested in learning mid-eastern Arabic because I intend to travel there extensively. I'm aware of the current political climate in that region, and I regard the learning of mid-eastern Arabic as a prerequisite to travelling in the area. I'd like to study reading, writing, and conversation - though, admittedly, my focus is on conversationa l Arabic.
My schedule is already full, so I'm looking for a course that would allow for a great deal of flexibility. I work five days a week, 9-5pm, so evenings and weekends are all I have available, and even some of those are already taken up with other activities.
I'd like to get in contact with a teacher who is not only a native speaker of mid-eastern Arabic, but who also has experience and proficiency in teaching a foreign language - after much trial and error, I'm all-too-aware that fluency in a given language does not necessarily translate into an ability to educate others in that language.

I studied japanese for two years in college and lived in tokyo for 10 months in 2001-2002.
I am looking for 2 to 4 hours of private study a week in my home. Tuesday and thursday around 7 pm or later. Saterday or sunday may be possible.
