I have just begun working in a building where 80% of residents and employees are native of Russia. I have several people who can translate for me, but I would like to learn the language myself.
I only know about four words right now, and have no idea how to string a sentence together - a true beginner.
I do know some Spanish, but this is of no help to me in learning Russian.

Two beginners. Have an apartment in Rio and would like to learn Portuguese fluently. Planning on spending good portion of time in Brazil. We would ideally like private lessons in our home seperate from each other. We have a very unpredictable schedule and we need someone who is flexible. Really need an instructor who is very dependable! We would like to devote alot of time to this- so grammar and conversationa l- preferably with someone who knows or has a Rio accent.
