I am at the beginner's level of learning Albanian. I am interested in learning this language because my fiancee is from Albania and we plan to spend a long periods of time over there. Very little of his family speaks English and I would like to be able to communicate with them. I am willing to spend a couple of sessions a week doing so once I graduate from college this May.

I am a beginning/int ermediate Brazilian Portuguese speaker. I lived with a family in Pedro Velho, a small town about an hour inland from Natal for six months in 2004, and learned everthing I could in the total immersion style. I had studied Spanish in school and went to Brazil speaking no Portuguese at all. During my time there, I spoke nothing but Portuguese and learned a lot, but I have since forgotten much, and I know there are many things that I learned incorrectly to begin with. I hope to go back and visit my host family some day soon, but I really want to be fluent before going back.
