I am taking arabic at the University of Florida where I am a freshman. I am interested in taking Middle Eastern Studies as my major. I have taken beginning arabic this year but feel very lost and behind because I am not a native speaker and don't know anyone that is. I would like to be tutored two or three times a week so that I am ready to take the next level arabic class next fall semester. I know the alphabet and can read most arabic. I have alot of trouble though with the conversationa l part... speaking it, creating sentences, grammer, etc. I am definately at the beginner level.

I want to learn spanish b/c my nationality is cuban/puerto rican and for 26 years I have not spoken it. I have taken the language many times but find it easier and quicker one on one.I would like to spend at least an hour for however long it takes for me to feel comfortable speaking fluently.
Th e qualities I am looking for is someone who speaks the language all the time and of course fluently. Someone who is patient and won't criticize. Someone who will give me constructive criticism and correct me when needed. It is very important to me that I learn my native language which I want to learn for myself and pass on to my children.The workforce nowadays highers spanish speaking people as opposed to just english speaking.

My name is Valerie Hawkins. I lived with my husband and three children in Beijing for a little over two years. We have moved back to the Cincinnati area and we would like to hire a chinese tutor.
