We are adopting an 8 year old boy from Guatemala named Geovany. We will be bringing him home at the end of this month..March 2006.
I am seeking a tutor for english. Geovany is going to go right into the baltimore county school system here and I want him to be able to 'get' the jist of things fairly quickly. Maybe more understanding key words right now???He seems to be pretty sharp.
I would like the tutor to be experienced teaching spanish-speak ing children, empathetic, caring and understanding of this child's situation. I know he does not know much at all and I am not much help with his spanish.
He will have help in some form at school ( I do not know what services yet because the balto. county schools need to assess him when he arrives).
I want him to have the best help I can get him !!

I am a beginner in the language, I'm still learning the hiragana, and katakana characters. I am interesting in learning japanese because I'm very interesting in japanese culture and would like to travel to Japan one dayI would like to dedicate a minimum of 30min to an hour a day to studying the language.

Hello,
My name is Micheal Bauer and i am looking to learn urdu, I am a beginner and want to learn because i plan on visiting pakistan in the near future. My girlfriend is pakistani and i hope to be able to hold conversation with her. I would like to learn conversationa l urdu. I would be able to dedicate a few hours a week in the evenings and hours on the weekend. The qualities i am looking for include a patient and non-judgmenta l teacher. I hope to be able to start slow and leave each lesson with new knowledge. Additionally, i hope that i am able to recieve lessons for a reasonable price.
