I have taken four semesters of Standard Arabic in college so I have quite a substantial foundation, but I became frustrated in the classroom atmosphere and would love one on one instruction because I have such a passion for learning languages. I want to become fluent in reading writing and speaking Standard Arabic so that I can use in in my career and travel.
I have a harder time speaking and understanding the language auditorily so I need more work in those areas and I would like to dedicate a few hours (ie multiple sessions) per week on lessons, and will put more time in on my own.
I need my teacher to be adaptive to the level I am on and to my learning style, as my main frustration with my Arabic experience so far has been the blanket method with which I was instructed.
