I am a beginner in Japanese (I know only the basics: salutations/g reetings, numbers, seasons, some verbs with their conjugations, months, days of the week, hiragana/kata kana, etc). I am learning languages because I want to be a foreign language professor (in Japan) at the University of Tokyo. I speak Spanish (my native language), English, and I am studying French in high school. I am learning Japanese at home, but it's hard to work by myself. I need most help in kanji and conversation (grammar too). I would like to spend about 2-3 hours studying Japanese. I know that all of these teachers will present good quality in their work, which is what I'm hoping to expect.

I am a college sophomore in my first year of learning Modern Standard Arabic. I want to increase my proficiency as much as possible. I hope to improve my vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills. Dear Mr. Idris--
I am hoping that you are still taking students for study of the Arabic Language. I studied three intensive semesters of Arabic at Washington Academy of Languages, and am interested in continuing my studies. I am studying language to addend my career ambitions which are in the realm of international development/p olicy analysis, but am genuinely interested in language, and the process of learning languages.
I need about an hour a week, only, with a set of homework. Basically I need to do some upkeep. I would probably try to ameliorate my Arabic, then go into an intensive course over the summer to accelerate my learning.
This is my plan of attack. I learn best by understanding the roots and the ways that they can be altered to form different parts of speach. I think Arabic is a very logical and poetic language, and I am interested in the insight this gives me into the minds of those for whom it is the maternal language.
