My name is Carolina Aleman and I am a college student in Dallas. I am very interested in learning Italian first of all because I think it's a beatiful language. I already speak a second language which is Spanish. I am planning a future trip to Italy this year around August and I want to be able to atleast communicate some how. I am very dedicated and serious about learning mostly with some one who is as dedicated in teaching. I have never spoken the language before so I would very much be a beginner. I am a second generation Puerto Rican that needs help improving my spanish skills. My parents speak spanish, however I grew up responding back in English. I have a good base but need to further improve my vocabulary for use in business and everyday life. I am willing to dedicate as much time as it takes to become proficient with the language.
The qualities that I look for in an instructor is someone who is patient and dedicated to teaching the proper use of the language.

I would like to learn portuguese to use it, in the future, in a business environment. My level of proficiency is beginner. I am willing to dedicate as much time as I need to learn this language, either two or three times per week.
My preference is to have a native speaker teacher, however if not possible I would consider taking the training with a non-native professor.
