My Thai language level is beginner. Had a few lessons in Bangkok and have done some self-study with audiotapes at home. Would like to have basic conversationa l skills for extended travel in Thailand later this year. I live about 90 minutes from Dallas and could drive there once a week and stay overnight to take two hours of lessons on two consecutive days, such as Saturday and Sunday. I am retired and my schedule is flexible. Could supplement live lessons with on-line learning methods.

I am a beginner. I want to learn mandarin because my girlfriend is chinese and it is necessary to know mandarin in order to communicate with her and her family. Itwill also help me in my career as well. I would like to concentrate on conversationa l mandarin first, but i would eventually want to learn how to read and write. I am not a very audible learner, thus it is hard for me to learn from my girlfriend. I would definitely need some sort of structure in learning this language to be effective. I am dedicated most of my time to learn mandarin as it is very important to me. I need my teacher to be patient and dedicated to help me learn this new language. My first language is vietnamese.

To whom it may concern:
I am an American, married to a French man. Our children speak English as their first language and French as a second. I would like them to take French lessons that are based on:
1: vocabulary, conversation
2: grammar
3: reading
The kids are 6 and 5 - and a baby who will not be taking classes yet. Their comprehension is good, and they speak when in France and sometimes at home, although the grammar is not always correct.
I have several freinds with kids who speak French at the same level. I am interested in learning about private and group lessons and the cost.
