I wish to learn japanese because i want to visit japan and or move there if i like it

how much time i want to dedicate to my language lessons : as much as the teacher will allow me to :) seriusly
What qualities i am looking for in my lessons : i want to because as fluent as possible and i want to learn as fast as i can.
I Prefer Live teaching because i have a learning disabilty and it would make it much easyer when i need alittle extra explaining or get confused ( also ive been trying to learn my self and ive noticed i have only actually learned the words in programs that speak the words also )

I am half Greek and I would like to have a taste into my herritage by trying to learn my mothers native language.
I would like to have a more in depth sense of my culture, a lot of the United States goverment is derived from the ancient Greek times, and I would love to put that I know three languages on my Oregon State resume.
As much time as getting a small concept of the language will take I am willing to give up. Evenings after 6 but for three to four hours a day if nessecary.
Qualities I think that are vital are to be well educated and prepared to help me with understanding the language.

Dear Sir,
My particular interest is for my son to continue his native language which is English, My husband and I plan to move to Mexico City soon, but the date is not set. I would like my son to have more of a private teacher throughout some years. My question is do you teach students who speak English as well, and help them continue this language without haveing to speak to him in Spanish. He will learn Spanish no matter what, this I know, but I don't wnat to him to have a Spanish acsent? How would You work this out?
If you are not able to help me, could you please refer me to anyone, or maybe a school.
