I have studied Chinese for 2 years, but my proficiency is that of a first year student. My future daughter-in-l aw is a Chinese national, and I want to be able to speak to her parents. Also, I want to travel a little more independently in China, so would like to improve my beginning Chinese. I would like to take a 2 hour lesson in the evening, once a week, on the U of Washington campus if possible. The most helpful method would be for us to use a text, such as the Integrated Chinese text, and go through lesson by lesson.
