I am now self-studying Mandarin using the Pimsleur CD's. I have completed about 50 hours of instruction so far. Now I would like to study with a tutor as well in order to learn more about grammar, common usage, and conversationa l skills.
I am studying Mandarin in order to be able to have some basic communicating skills when I return to China later this year as a tourist.
Besides Chinese, I have also studied Vietnamese (I can read, write, and engage in conversation, although I am not yet fluent), French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
I work in Houston from Monday to Friday, and return to my home in Austin on the weekends. I would like to study either once or twice during the week, for one to two hours per session. I am usually only available in the evening; however, daytime meeting may be possible. I am looking for in person private tutoring, at some mutually-agre eable meeting spot.

Hello,
My name is Mike Rudzinski and I'm very interested in continuing my study of the Polish language. I have already had one year(2 semesters) of Polish via video conferencing through the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Iowa. My professor is available for contact if you would like to speak with her. I also spent 5 weeks in Krakow on a study abroad program and I'm proud to say I recieved an A- as my final grade. I was one of 5 students, but the only one who was not fluent or had been speaking the language since birth.
I have only become interested in Polish through my Babcia, who is quite fluent in Polish, German, Ukrainian and Russian, but is also the only person who speaks the native tongue of my family. I would like to become fluent in Polish not only to return to Poland(where I hope to live one day) and find my relatives, but also to keep the family language in the family.
I need a lot of help on vocabulary. It is very hard to learn Polish on my own as I don't have anyone to correct my pronunciation . My grammar needs tremendous work as well. I am able to understand and speak basic Polish phrases, carry out conversations and put together sentences, and my pronunciation was good enough to fool Krakovians into thinking I was Polish. I would say I am a beginner in the language although I have completed the course requirements for Intermediate Polish.
I would like to spend at least an hour a week working on Polish, and my schedule should be quite flexible.
I need someone who is qualified in Polish and has extensive experience in speaking it with other Poles. A professor would be preferable, but especially someone with experience teaching Polish to English speakers.

I have had three years of study at my high school. I need improvement on my grammar. The vocabuary is ok for me but i really need help with learning when to congagate the verbs to match the tense of the sentence. i would like to become fluent in spanish. i would like to spend a little time each week (maybe once a week). i will be takeing Advanced Spanish in the spring and really need the help before i take that class. i wish to have a teacher who can give me individual attention and speaks spanish Fluently.

Hi, my name is Richard. I'm really interested in learning how to speak and write Hindi. I have a lot of friends that speak the language and i love the music and movies. I feel that if I knew the language that i can understand whats going on better in the movies and in the songs. I plan on visiting India some day so the language would be usefull as well. I am a beginner so i will need quite a bit of help. I hope that my teacher is very fluent in both writing and speaking and I am also willing to dedicate as much time needed. I plan to learn other languages but i felt that Hindi should be the one to start with, being that it is part of my culture. Would greatly appreciate the lessons.
