I would like to have a teacher once a week for my children to learn converstaiona l Mandarin. I have two girls, and I might be able to get another 2 or 3 to come to class.
We could have it in our home and hope the teacher would be good with chidren. My older daughter is eager and has had one class. WE also have the Mei Mei and Me tapes.

This is not for me. This is for my 2 sons (12 and 7) who can understand Tamil (to an extent) but cannot talk (or shy to talk). They will be in Chennai starting next week for 6 weeks. I want some body to tutor them in spoken Tamil. I want them to understand and speak Tamil to the extent of comunicating to their grand parents.
T hey will be in Thiruvanmiyr (by the vicinity of Kalakshtra road, behind Thiagaraja theater). I want the teacher to come home and teach.

1) Beginner: I have never had a tutor before and my only knowledge of Japanese comes from books I have borrowed from the library. In truth, I know little of this language.
2) I wish to learn Japanese because of personal interest. Ever since I was very young I have admired the Japanese and I want to visit (maybe live) in Japan one day.
3) I need improvement in everything.
4) I believe, any amount of time is alright. As long I can be assured to learn a lot and never forget what I learn then I am willing to spend all the time needed.
5) As long as the teacher does not make me doze off the first second he/she starts talking and as long as she/he makes the lessons enjoyable, fun, and unforgetable. I would also appreciate it a lot if I can learn and have tests/convers ations with the teacher.
