I know only a few words. I may be moving to Finland in less than a yr and I need to learn as much as possible before the move as I will have to make a living there and find a job. Furthermore my boyfriend has two young children that do not speak English so I would really love to learn the language so that I can communicate with them. I'm looking to have help with pronounciatio n and common speech phrases and things that are not so easily self taught from books. What ever one is able to teach will be much appreciated. I have evenings and weekends free, so I am willing to divote much of my free time to learning.

I travel to Ukraine on Busienss frequently, now I am here for one month. I would like to learn practical russian to make my life easier while I am here. I am not a beginner. I have 2 months study at home in Philadelphia.
I don't need to learn writing or complicated grammar, just enough to have conversations while I'm at restaurants, metro, etc..

Although I speak Cantonese, my daughter do not speak very much and have 1 year of very elementary Chinese school (mandarin) when she was 11 yo
She would like to study mandarin while at home for the summer (May through mid Aug)2 times week, mainly conversationa l, reading and writing.
