The main weaknesses I would like addressed include vocabulary and grammar. I am a highly motivated student who requires an intense curriculum. This is for my 4yr old daughter, who speaks English fluently at home with me, and a little Cantonese with her father. She has spent 2 years in a Chinese day-care center and thus been exposed to more Chinese language, but it has unfortunately been mixed between Cantonese, Mandarin and Fukienese, so she is less than fluent. I am looking for an intensive summer session of lessons to get her up to speed in Cantonese, so that she will have an easier time communicating with the native speaking Cantonese children in the community.

Hello,
I am a complete beginner in Hebrew, but I have taken 2 years of modern standard Arabic. I am interested in learning Hebrew because I am writing an undergraduate honors thesis comparing different Middle Eastern literatures and I would like to know as much Hebrew as possible to be able to read some of the literature without translation. I am also hopefully going to Israel in August in order to complete an intensive Hebrew program in Tel Aviv. I am willing to devote several hours every day to Hebrew. I am looking for a teacher who will be willing to work very intensely with me.

I am a nurse who has studied medical Spanish for the past year. I just returned from an immersion program in Guatemala, and I'm interested in keeping up the skill. I would say I am at the intermediate level, with good comprehension but more difficulty speaking. I would like to meet for about two hours per week, practicing speaking and listening. I would be happy to do homework the other days. I am also interested in mock patient-nurse interactions so I can learn to speak more fluently with patients.
