Description |
Myself, my brother, and two friends are interested in taking Spanish lessons. We all have some knowledge of Spanish, either through high school or college courses or living with family members who speak Spanish. You would probably classify us as beginners, especially in terms of conversationa l Spanish, which is our main reason in pursuing lessons at this time.
We would like to be able to converse in Spanish and be educated and knowledgeable in doing so. And, we just want to be able to enjoy ourselves while carrying on the conversations . Spanish-speak ing people are a lively, entertaining, and beautiful group of people that we want to be able to interact with at a much deeper level.
Are as that need improvement would be all areas---gramm ar, conversation, vocabulary, etc. As far as how much time we want to dedicate to our language lessons, we would be willing to meet once a week or every other week depending on what our teacher felt was best.
We have an extensive network of friends and family who speak Spanish, so we plan on getting plenty of practice learning to converse with them in their native language. And, by taking the class together, we plan on practicing with each other as well. We just want to make this process as fun and productive as possible.
Concernin g the qualities we are looking for in our lessons or in our teacher, we would like to learn how to converse in Spanish and be comfortable doing so. We want to be able to sit around the dinner table or go to some of our favorite countries overseas and drop easily into the surroundings and culture we find ourselves in so we can thoroughly experience the nuances of the people who cross our paths.
We would like a teacher who can appreciate what we are trying to achieve through our lessons and who can create an environment and a relationship with us that provides the content we need to reach this goal. But, we also want a teacher who makes this learning process fun and enjoyable as we share this journey together.
We want to learn Spanish so we can appreciate more fully and experience more deeply the relationships we currently have and will have in the future with all Spanish-speak ing people.

Description |
Beginner, have Korean background and lived in Seoul as a child. I'm graduating college and I would really like to devote some time to learning my language. I would need to start from the beginning with the alphabet, grammer, writing and reading. I was hoping that these classes could be offered on weekends, or some week nights. Teacher must be Korean and have fluency in English, someone who has patience.

Description |
I have taken Quichua for 1 year and a half and completed a summer of Imperial Quechua in Cuzco last year. The two languages are incredibly similar but I want to gain more knowledge and fluidity with Quechua. I am learning Quechua because I am Peruvian/Ecua dorian, American born and hope to work in the highlands of Ecuador or Peru in the future. I need improvement in grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate 3-4 days a week to Quechua language lessons, spanning 3 to 4 hours.
I would just want a professor who is patient.
