I am a beginner in the Serbian language. I am trying to teach myself but only with no success. I travel to Serbia about 2 to 3 times a year to visit friends, and I sit there at coffee houses listening to them speak in Serbian not being able to contribute to the conversation. I need to learn everything. I tried to teach myself, but do not know the pronunciation of each letter. I figure I would need professional help with a curriculum. I work full time as a General Manager of a hotel that seems to have a lot of European students who use this hotel. I honestly do not know how much time I would like to dedicate to lessons. I would like to know an overview and how long a teacher thinks it would take to learn basic conversation in Serbian and then from that point organize a schedule that I am capable of handling.
I would like a teacher that is flexible, organized, serious, know correct pronunciation , and correct grammar of the Serbian language.

Hello! My name is Sarah and I am fifteen years old. I have studied Spanish language at my public high school for about a year--so I am just a beginner. But I feel that I really have a knack for it, and I have always loved language--be it English, Spanish, French, etc. Language has fascinated me since I was young. So I feel like I really want to dedicate more of my life to other cultures and languages. That and the fact that my Spanish classes at school are not challenging enough has caused me to think about extra tutoring. I have actually been learning Spanish over the summer--I invited an exchange student from Spain to live with my family for a couple of months, which has been very interesting.
I can possibly dedicate a few hours after school or on weekends to studying. Maybe two or three two-hour classes per week.
I am looking for a tutor who truly knows the language and who has a love for it as well. I would like my tutor to be challenging, but at the same time patient with me. I would like a female teacher simply because it would make me feel more comfortable.
My goal in having a tutor and taking a Spanish class at the same time is not to learn the language at an accelerated rate (which is not a reasonable goal anyway). It is simply to help me to understand it better and to learn it as thoroughly as possible.
