I am a 13 year old girl who wants to learn beginning Japanese. My reason for learning Japanese is that I have always wanted to learn but didn't know where to start. I need improvement in all areas because I have never really studied before. I will dedicate as much time as is necessary to my lessons. While I have been exposed to some French as an art historian, I have never formally studied the language.* Since I am traveling to Paris this fall, I would like to learn some French in order to be able to speak with Parisians and get around the city easily.
I am willing to spend 2-3 sessions a month with a teacher. Also, I am looking for a teacher with excellent communication skills who is familiar with the city of Paris, its neighborhoods ,and it culture.
* I did study some Italian in college.
