I want to understand the beauty of the languages that my ethnicity originate from.
I am a beginner in the language I am learning but the concepts and meanings behind specific words I can understand through empathy and reverse translation.

I wanted to learn a language that was similar to English but different than French, Spanish, etc. I have tried to learn them and I end up getting Spanish confused with French, so I decided to try German. I am an ABSOLUTE beginner in German. I am just trying to learn how to pronounce certain letters/words /vowels. I know very little vocabulary at the moment. I want to dedicate at least 30 minutes to an hour for each lesson. I want to learn in a more natural environment, less grammar drills and vocab drills. I want to speak (or try to) mainly in German. I've tried the memorize and recite technique and it hasn't worked for me. I want to try acquiring the language in a more natural and organic method (if that makes sense). I am shy, so someone who is patient and kind would be great. Someone who understands that I want to learn but can be shy until I get more comfortable. Thank you.

I am wanting to eventually visit Germany and I just love how beautiful the language is. I enjoy listening to German music and I want to understand more of the language. I've been trying to learn, but pronunciation is what I struggle with the most. I am most definitely a beginner. I can probably do about 30 minutes of practice a day and lessons an hour 3 times a week. I need someone patient, but also someone who won't hold back. I learn fast, but I am not afraid to say something when I don't understand or I need something repeated.
