I have taken 3 semesters of Japanese at UCF, and aside from the grammar structures, I do not feel that I have gotten that much out of my classes. The class used the Nakama textbooks, and the vocabulary I've learned from that is all school and college related, which will not help me much in conversationa l or professional situations. I want to work on conversationa l Japanese, because I'm planning on going to Japan in May. Also, I am looking to use Japanese as a third language for work (I am a mechanical engineer). I feel that I'm at a upper beginner/lowe r intermediate level. I am willing to dedicate a decent block of my time, since I am now done with school, and have time to study outside of my work hours. I am looking for a teacher that can tailor the lessons for the idea of conversation and listening comprehension , with grammar as a secondary, but equally important goal. I have already taken the JLPT L5, and am planning on taking L4 in December, so I would like to have some of those points addressed as well. Thanks, and I look forward to working with you.

I am learning these languages because i am interested in them and wanting to knowthem so that i can communicate with native speakers better and also because i want to be a multilingual person. I want someone who will take the time to help me and explain to me certain thngs throughout the language and be there to assist me when i have a problem/quest ion. Someone who has patience and won't give up on trying to teach me even though i do learn fast. I am a beginner in creole and half beginner in french and spanish,begin ner in sign language though i do know somethings.
