I have grade 11 french, but haven't used it and wanted to gain some conversationa l skills and comprehension . I work with french speaking people every day, but my job is not a bilingual position. Since I can't get french language training through work, I wanted to pursue it on my own. I thought about 2 hours per week. I would like to have a teacher that would be able to point me at self study materials as well as making the most of my tutor time.

I am a member of the Canorient Association, a cultural organization for Christian Indians & Pakistanis. I am interested in arranging conversationa l Urdu lessons for a small group (5-10 students) of youth (ages 16-25). It would be preferable if the lessons can be held in Woodbridge for approximately 1-2 hrs/wk. during the summer months (8-12 weeks) and possibly beyond into the school year if necessary. The youth in this club basically have zero knowledge of Urdu thus beginner lessons are needed. The purpose of these lessons would be to provide 1st generation Canadians with a cultural link to their heritage via language.
