I am looking for an experience Mandarin teacher for group lesson (me, my husband and my children aged 8 and 5). I am from Hong Kong and can speak Mandarin (beginner)and read/write traditional Chinese. My family are all English speakers with no prior knowledge of Mandarin.

I would like to translate works from Urdu to english, such as lectures and books. I am proficient in speaking urdu, I am a lot better at understanding than speaking. I want to learn Vietnamese for personal reasons. I want to be able to have a casual conversation in Vietnamese. I am a beginner. I know some words but that's about it. I need to improve everything, pronunciation , putting together sentences, etc. This is a long-term objective of mine. I think one hour a week would be sufficient. I'd like to leave a session with materials to practice or homework, whatever is best for me to learn the language. I will need a teacher who is patient as I am 30 years old and do not know any languages similar to Vietnamese so pronunciation in particular will be quite challenging. They should also be able to provide me with homework or self study work to learn when I'm not with them. Preferably I'd like someone who will teach me Vietnamese from the North or teach me based on the way the North speaks.
