I desire to learn Turkish as it has always been on my bucket list of things I've wanted to do. In addition, I have a friend with whom I would like to be able to better converse (both orally and written). I also plan to visit Turkey in about 3 years time.
I am a true beginner and know about 5-10 words of the language thus far. I am willing to spend up to 5 hours a week in class time, perhaps more depending on how the lessons are structured. I can only make perhaps 2 trips a week to the city to take lessons at this point as it is over an hour commute to the edge of the city. Add more time depending on where the lessons will take place.
I am looking for a patient teacher with opportunity to take lessons home and be able to work on material on my own. Age and genders are not issues as long as healthy respect is shown on both fronts.

I am looking for a Polish teacher for my two girls, who are 7 & 10. We are moving to Edmonton in January and the school they are wanting to go to is a bilingual Polish/Englis h school. I would like for them to be prepared.
They are fast learners and are very much looking forward to learning
I would like the lessons to be 1-2 times a week for about an hour each lesson.
We would like a teacher who is patient and kind, knows the language well, and can teach them the basics so they are not lost at their new school.
