I am interested in learning Mandarin for personal and business reasons. I have traveled to SE Asia on five different occasions between 2005 and 2013, and plan on traveling to China, Singapore, and other Asian countries in the coming year. I did study some introductory Mandarin a few years ago, but with no opportunities to practice it I believe I will be starting as an absolute beginner. I am learning this language because I want to be a ESL teacher in Korea. I am not a beginner but I did teach myself with the help of others.
