I want to learn to speak Italian because I have always dreamed of going to Italy since I was a little girl. To me it is the most beautiful place in the world that I could ever imagine going to and I promised myself that I would go there one day. And when I do, I want to be able to speak Italian fluently, perfectly.The language is so beautiful and I can not wait to learn.This could also mean a career advancement for me.Im a beginner. I've tested myself over youtube lessons...im pretty good at reading it. I want to learn the grammar, conversation, everything there is to know.If I could dedicate most of my time to it, I would. But,unfortuna tely I can't because I'm going to start college soon. I hope the time is negotiable.Th e qualities I am looking for in a teacher is for he/she to be professional about teaching me this language. I am a beginner student in Italian. I have purchased the Rosetta Stone software but want to speak and learn it with someone in person also. I'd like to learn it well enough to be a translator one day or maybe just to move to a different country. I have an hour a day to devote to it. I need a teacher who is patient, speaks slowly, and can teach older students with memory problems! (kidding)
I' d like to know where you teach or if you can come to my home and what the cost is per hour.

I am hoping to augment my Italian studies before I begin law school in Fall 2012. I am near enough to Pittsburgh that I would happily drive there for any in-person instruction. I would ideally like to work on this for at least an hour every week.
I do have some academic background in Italian, but I'm hoping to connect with a teacher who has knowledge of business Italian, or at least enough comfortabilit y with the language that certain queries can be met. I will probably also need a brush-up of the basics as it's been a few years since my last course/visit to Italy.
