I am a beginner in the Sign Language field but would like to become more fluent. I eventually want to be able to list it as a second language on any job application. I am a junior in college and want to go into the hospitality field and have learned that there are not very many interpreters out there that work in hotels or on cruise ships. My college offers classes, but they do not end until september and I have an internship with Disney World starting in August. I am looking for someone that can teach me at least basic American Sign Language. Thank you very much.

student is a 64 yr old male; just had a stroke; has been deaf for at least 55+ yrs; can communicate with family members(had some early sign training); however will need to be able to commuicate with medical staff. communication skills poor with other than family members; will devote as much time as needed based on tutor determination (not looking for miricales just basic improvement). need someone who is patient; wife will also be part of sessions. need someone ASAP.

Hello, I have previously taken ASL I and know the basic alphabet and numbers and a few words. I currently work with a student who does not speak but mainly fingerpspells and I would like to be able too teach her more words and enable her to communicate effectively. I can dedicate a couple hours daily to learning this language on line. My qualities in a teacher would include one with flexibility in my learning process and also effective in also teaching me the culture.
