My daughter is 4 1/2 and i am 38 and would like to learn sign language because we have family members that are deaf. This would be biginners for both of us. I am in the process of teaching her the alphabets in signs. but we would like to have a conversation/ communicate with our relatives. An hour once a week will be good.
I am looking for someone who is willing and able to come to our home or we go to theirs as long as they live in the same city.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am a 40+ American Secretary living in Dhaka, Bangladesh. On August 3, I return to the Washington, DC area for one year of training at the State Dept. While in the States, I want to learn ASL from a teacher who makes learning fun yet easy. Even though I already know many signs, I need someone with whom I can practice conversing. (I consider myself an advanced beginner.)
I will be available any time during the weekend. I may be able to afford 3-4 hours a week -- depending on the rate per hour.

Currently somewhat conversant in sign language; looking to become fluent for personal reasons (deaf relative) and career.
My situation may be unique:
I work for an airline and travel very much. I'm able to take lessons once or twice a week. Currently looking for an organization or teacher that is flexible and open to teach an eager student who's schedule is unpredictable .
I'm excited and anxious to learn - I'm not able to keep up w/my deaf nephew anymore! (He's so much more advanced than I am now.)
I moved to Arizona from Chicago very recently. Please respond, even if you are only able to give me information regarding ASL education in the Phoenix area.
