I am learning German in the hope of living and working in the country. I have studied the German language at school but this was some time ago. I would like to gain an excellent understanding of the conversationa l aspect of the language to enable me to converse with local people. I would be looking to study at least 5 days a week for around 2 hours depending on the fees.

I work international ly and visit Tokyo for business. I took one year of Japanese in a full-immersio n style at University of California, Berkeley. I want to improve my Japanese so I can communicate with my business contacts more effectively.
I appreciate the full immersion style. Also, I am Korean American so I find that Japanese is more intuitive for me than it might be for those without a Turkic-Altaic language background.
I also want to learn Kanji and informal speaking styles and colloquial speech.
