I am an aspiring opera singer and I want to learn the Italian language. I need to start with the basics and quickly progress, simultaneousl y working on my repertoire and the Italian that specifically applies to the needs of operas that I am working on. I need to be able to function in a rehearsal conducted in Italian, as well as have a much better understanding of the flow of the language for performance reasons.
I really need a teacher who is willing to be relentless about pronunciation and stress within a sentence. I need to be able to apply a really good understanding of the language every time I sing in Italian. A teacher who would sometimes be willing to work with me while singing to make sure that it can be understood completely would also be very helpful.
