I want to learn Japanese mainly out of personal interest, music and movies, but also like to get to know people from Japan and want to be able to communicate (and read) better when travelling, with a main focus on everyday - casual conversation.
I would prefer a native Japanese speaker as a tutor.

I have Polish grandparents which has given me a strong interest in some of my heritage, in particular Polish history and culture. I have always had a great interest in learning Polish as a second language due to my roots, but also now as a career tool which may provide me with more job opportunities in future.
I know a few words and sentences, but would class myself as a beginner. I am willing to dedicate a lot of time into this as I currently work time which gives me the chance to learn and study in depth.
I would expect my teacher to have a genuine passion for teaching others, but also being demanding while encouraging.

Catalan and Catalonia have always fascinated me. I want to learn Catalan because I plan to live in Barcelona. I don't want to move to Barcelona without knowing any Catalan, which I think would be disrespectful . I am a complete beginner, but speak Castellano, Italian and French so will pick it up very easily. I have lived in Girona province for 6 months so have spent time listening to Catalan and recognise words. In particular, I want to learn basic conversation, grammar (all tenses), and enough to be able to become fluent once living there. I will dedicate about 2/3 hours per week.

I am currently studying BA History and African Studies course at SOAS university. Kiswahili is also an optional course I have chosen. However, approaching my third year of Kiswahili, I have found this struggle. My origins are from Kenya, though born in the UK with English as my first language. I would like to improve greatly in both written and communicative language skills, though find this a challenge, especially with learning difficulties. I would say my current language proficiency is intermediate, though not so confident in oral.
I would like a professional teacher who is able to push these barriers with dedication, understanding , patience and commitment. An hour or 2 a week i feel would be sufficient before term time begins in oct.

I have been to Serbia a couple of times before, and I would like to learn the language. I am a complete beginner, and while a know a few phrases to get by, I am keen to learn the language properly, so that I may have a conversation in Serbian. I am looking for a patient techer, who is passionate about their subject. I am flexible with regards to times, but I would hope for mabye an hour or two a week, depending on cost.
