I already speak Spanish and I thought Italian would be a natural progression because of the similarities of both languages. I'm a beginner. I'm looking for a teacher who is fun and patient and who will focus more on conversationa l and grammar skills than writing. It would be great if he/she could also include some lessons on Italian culture and practices.

I've only started with a self help book and cd. I would love to learn the language because I personally think that it's a beautiful language. One of my dreams is to be able to converse in Italian, French and Spanish.

I would like to learn the Italian language because in hopes that in distant future, I'll be able to advance my career as a chef in Italy. I hold no basic knowledge of the italian language at current moment, therefore I would like to start as a beginner.
Due to tight scheduling, I'm only able to dedicate as to twice a week in learning the language. During my lessons, I would like to gain the knowledge or having proper grammar, conversation and written language, etc...
