I want to be able to communicate with my cousin more effectively and so she doesn't have to work so hard at reading my lips. I have always wanted to learn sign language since I was a kid but never had the opportunity. This seems like a perfect reason to start learning.
I am a beginner student. I would be willing and able to dedicate two hours a day to start off with. Maybe more if possible.
I would like the teacher to be patient and not mind me asking questions. I want and need to understand this language and completely as I can. In person classes would be preferable if we are close to each other. If not I do have video chat capabilities with my computer at home.
Thank you and I really hope I can start learning Sign Language soon.

I am interested in learning American Sign Language. I've always been interested in it and my cousin is deaf and I would like to communicate with her better. Latley I have also found myself amongst others who only speak Sign Language and something inside of me is telling me to learn it. I feel I would like to work with the deaf some day. Im only a beginner and would like to spend atleast once a week in a class, possibly more. I would like a teacher who is very educated in this language and who has a high interest in making sure I learn as much as I possibly can.

I would like to learn more about sign language and the art of it. The language is a beautiful creation and even though I am still a beginner , I know this language can be an opportunity to have a better future and help others. I definitely need help conversating with others , which is my main concern. I want to dedicate all the time I can to learn as much as possible , The more I know, the better. I look forward in having a teacher who is committed to help and very organized with their work. Also , someone who communicative and motivating.

I had tongue cancer and is becoming more difficult to coomunicate with words. I would be definetely a beginner. At this stage conversation is my main objective. My wife and I work full time and would need private lessons at home. The professor we are looking for for must be mature, be patience and understanding ...He will make the lessons.
