I started learning Italian about 20 years ago and can make myself understood in this language. Although my Italian vocabulary is rather big, I miss some basic rules and would like to pass a certificate for my personal education. I have about 3 hours to spend on homework on a weekly basis and can take 1 to 2 hours teaching. I would like to have private lessons or in a very small class.

I would love to become fluent in Italian for many reasons. Most importantly because I lived a winter semester in Florence, Italy, where I took culinary and arts classes. My time in Italy had such a profound impact on me that it is my hopes to live there one day. I am currently opening a clothing boutique in Sacramento and think knowing Italian would only be beneficial incase I choose to do business there or eventually move there. Aside from all of that, I have a passion for languages, culture and learning new things. I finally have some time to fully commit to learning this language not only for what I previously mentioned, but because I just genuinely want to learn it. I have no previous background in Italian language classes, however I have taken Spanish and French and find that I am confident in learning languages when I have time to dedicate to them. I hope to meet 1-2 times a week and am looking for a teacher who is as passionate about teaching the language, as I am to learn it.
