I travel to Kenya annually for two months at a time and would love to speak the Kiswahili language. I have tried self taught programs and I get stuck then find it difficult to continue. I need to be able to build and learn as a child would learn. My husband and I try to speak to each other with the few words we've picked up that we remember, but soon after returning to America cannot recall what we thought we knew in Kenya. I want to be able to have a conversation and not just look at the Kiswahili speaker with a blank look on my face when a simple greeting is given. I can work around most any schedule to accomplish this goal. I do not need a formal class or schooling, just interested in learning.
